8vo. 35 pp. Title wrapper, with no mention of publisher, publishing place or publishing year, as issued. Work on the "Psychology" by renowned Greek philosopher Artistotle. Age wear, staining, creasing and closed tears to wrappers, with small parts of front wrapper and spine missing at bottom and top, binding starting to split alongside spine. Binding still firm. Minor browning and pencil marks throughout. In English, translated from the Greek. Fair condition. fair. Item #20376

John Cook Wilson (1849 - 1915) was an English philosopher. After becoming a Fellow of Oriel College, Oxford in 1873, he was appointed Wykeham Professor of Logic in 1899. In the same year, he becamed a Fellow of New College, Oxford, a post he held until his death. Even though he was raised onthe teachings of British idealism, Wilson promoted philosophical realism.
