On the Academie Diplomatique Internationale (Source: ADI website):
The Académie Diplomatique Internationale (ADI) was founded in 1926 as one of the world’s first independent institutions dedicated to the promotion of global dialogue and respect for international laws and norms. In 1928, the ADI drafted the world’s first petition for a formal global human rights declaration, and later published the landmark Dictionaire Diplomatique. The Académie is being revitalized today as a center for advancing principled and effective diplomacy in government, business and civil society. The ADI is situated in its elegantly appointed historic residence in central Paris which serves as the center for the ADI's administrative and programmatic activities.
