Booklet summarizing the [French] book in English, with order form at end, laid in at free front endpaper. From the booklet: "This tribute of affectionate regard, evoked by the celebration of the Tercentenary of the founding for Harvard University (...) constitutes a graceful and lasting expression of sentiments of fifteen Frenchmen, prominent in France, each of whom has prepared an article of permanent interest, illustrative of points of contact between Harvard and France from the end of the seventeenth, and particularly from the first half of the eighteenth, century to the present day." Age wear and discoloration to wrappers, with part missing at top, creasing and minor tears at edges. Wrappers starting to split alongside spine at bottom, but still tightly attached.
