Book is meant to accurately and briefly chronicle the invasion of Manchuria by the Imperial Japanese Army, which began on September 19 1931, immediately following the Mukden Incident, which marked the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War. The Japanese occupation of Manchuria would lasted until the end of World War II. Sunning & tearing to wrappers, crease on bottom right hand corner and inch by half inch section missing from top left hand corner of front wrapper. Yellowing to front endpaper due to age, except for space where the errata has laid all these years. Front wrapper detached. Hinges slightly starting.
