Chipping and closed tears on head and tail of spine, parts of cloth along spine split but firmly holding. Usual age toning to outer edges of pages. Some waterstaining to binding, minor rippling to some pages. 122 photographs resting in lowered pockets in front-and rear endpaper. Stereoscope missing. Additional 72 photos mounted on heavy black card stock throughout as published. "Gau(e)" was the Nazis term for district. There were 43 Gaue during the Third Reich. Text in Gothic script.
