Pictorial decorative b/w facsimile photograph of an elegant lady in fine traditional Chinese garb holding a fan sitting in picturesque scene pasted on blue cloth. Rebacked leather spine. An exceptionally interesting volume in Yiddish. The first work, "Khina," speaks about the religion, customs, agriculture, political history and Jewish life of China. Book is profusely illustrated with b/w facsimile sketches and photographs of the people, architecture, plant life, animal life, language, scenery of China. The second work, "Afrika," is about the land and peoples of Africa as well as one b/w map. Work contains a number of b/w facsimile photographs and sketches of the people, customs, plant life and architecture of Africa, with special attention given to Egypt. The third work, Mein Tag=Bukh, is the author's daily journal of his trip through Egypt, Israel and Italy from the 2nd of April to the 17th of May in 1924. This work is also illustrated with a number of beautiful b/w facsimile photographs and sketches of the people and architecture of the lands visited. Age wear to spine. Hinges starting.
