Note is lengthy, but begins, "The enclosed modest booklet contains not only the version of the proceedings of the Small Zionist General Council during its session in December, 1956. it is more than that. it is a true reflection of the proud standing of the Zionist Movement in its dispersion in the days of trial. The session took place a few weeks after the Israel Army's successful self-defense campaign in the Sinai Peninsula . . ."
