Magnin of Hebrew Union College to inside of front board. Marbled endpapers. Frontispiece missing. Tissue-guard on title-page torn. Perforated library stamp on margin of title-page. Few pages and plates loose but complete. Usual age browning to pages. "Illustrated with twenty-five Chromo-Lithographs after paintings by Raphael, Batoni, Horace Vernet, Goodall, Landelle, Portaels, Vernet-Lecomte, Baader, Merle, and Boulanger and others; printed by Monroco from Stones executed by Jehenne, Paris."
