'Protokoll' and an impressive report of the first meeting of the "National-Komitees Freies Deutschland und des Bundes Deutscher Offiziere" held on the 12th and 13th of July, 1943 in Moscow. The committee was made up of German officers and soldiers who were prisoners of war in Russia as well as antifascists from all walks of Russian life. The goal of the committee was to bring the downfall of Hitler's Germany and Reich, hence the name "Freies Deutschland" (Free Germany). Text in German. In good condition. g. Item #13322
