Julien Greau (1810-1895) was an omnivorous French collector of coins, bronzes and terracottas. This beautiful catalogue shows the Greek terracottas in his collection. The majority of sculptures depicted are of Lydian and Phrygian origin. Wonderfully illustrated with full page sepia-toned and b/w plates. Volume one has the text to both volumes plates.
