Poems by Alfred Wolfenstein written while "a prisoner" of the Gestapo in 1940's Paris, hence the title "Ein Gefangener". He committed suicide in 1945 as a result of the mental and physical torture inflicted on him. Illustrated with 12 original lino cuts by Wolfgang Jörg and Erich Schönig who both signed this limited copy of 500. One signed lino cut by Erich Schönig laid in. Text in German.
