Motion picture program featuring the full cast as well as the synopsis of Wanda Jakubowska's 1947 masterpiece "Ostatni Etap."
Partly shot on location at Auschwitz concentration camp, "Ostatni Etap" (The Last Stage) is a 1947 Polish film directed and co-written by Wanda Jakubowska, depicting her personal experiences in the extermination camp during World War II. The film was one of the earliest cinematic efforts to describe the Holocaust, and it is still quoted extensively by succeeding directors, including Steven Spielberg in "The Schindler's List."
Laid in are two 5 1/8 x 7 2/8" original silver gelatin print film stills by Urbanowicz Wojciech, with the production stamp at verso.
Some age toning to wrappers. Tiny closed tear at fold. Text in Polish. Program in overall good+ to very good, silver gelatin prints in very good condition.

Some rubbing to extremities along the spine. Covers with light water staining and foxing. Interior with a few light sporadic water stains and smudges throughout, mostly un-affecting images and text. Wrappers in good+, inteiror in very good condition overall.
Ostani Etap. 5 Photo-postcards, bound together as a leporello with a photo-illustrated cover with black lettering. The five b/w images are printed in photogravure, and depict the leading actresses from the film. A few minor to light stains, mostly in the magrins, with a few images affected. g+ to vg. Item #43610
