This striking Montgomery Ward Non-Fading Wall Papers catalog for the year 1929 features no less than 90 superb wallpaper samples. Each of the 90 samples in this catalog is an actual piece of wallpaper. Across the top of each is printed, in true colors, its own specially designed border (reduced about half its actual size). Exact border width is given in inches on the back of each sample, as well as the description of each pattern, the various dimensions, and prices. Most of the samples have floral patterns - a popular trend at the time - in rich vibrant colors. They have been color-screen printed, and contain intricate ornaments professionally over-printed often in gold and silver. Each wallpaper sample measures appr. 8 1/2 x 10 3/4".

Moderate and sporadic creasing to spine and along edges of wrappers. Lower corner of pages 82 to 96 and 101 to 104 slightly creased. Pages 97 to 100 missing. Wrappers in overall good+, interior in good+ to very good, samples in very good condition. g+ to vg. Item #40221
