Originally published in 2 volumes (Introductory and Facsimile). This introductory volume is illustrated with 32 pages of b/w reproductions of Hebrew art work on glossy paper. Text in English with Hebrew quotes. Head and tail of slipcase spine shows wear. Corners split. Book shows some wear on edges, but otherwise in near perfect condition. Slipcase is in overall fair condition. Book is in overall very good condition.
The Bird's Head Haggadah was made around 1300 and is the oldest illuminated haggadah known. Its pictures are exemplary illustrations of medieval Jewish art.
