Stunningly illustrated work of the 'Holy Vessels" and furniture of the Tabernacle looking at the Ark and Mercy-seat, the table of Shewbread, the Candlestick, the Altar of Incense, the Laver, and the Altar of Burnt-offering. Each item accompanied with detailed information such as length, height, width, as well as other pertinent information. Contains 12 vibrant chromolithographs heightened in color, all protected by tissue-guard. Two pages with list of other publications by Samuel Bagster and Sons in rear. Age wear and staining on binding. Edges of some leaves creased and chipped, not affecting text or plates. Sporadic foxing, mainly on margins of plates. Reinforced with brown binders tape along gutter at front and rear endpapers. Binding in fair to good-, interior in overall good condition. Chromolithographs clean and crisp.
