Published to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Karl Lieberknecht textile machine (Wirkmaschinen) manufacturer in Oberlungwitz. The company was founded in 1873 by the brothers Karl Ludwig and Theodor Cornelius Lieberknecht. Illustrated with 23 tipped-in reproductions of photographs in sepia-tone and b/w on heavy brown card stock (2 plates are reproductions of drawings & 1 plan). Includes 4 in-text reproductions of b/w drawings. Text in German. Wraps protected by modern mylar. Edges of wraps slightly creased, otherwise near fine to fine condition. Scarce.
