Fascinating work being primarily a collection of plates depicting important buildings, monuments and artifacts made between the Ist and the XXXIVth dynasty of the Egypt of the Pharaohs (5004 BC - 280 AD). 7 illustrated plates (Reconstruction) and 100 photographic plates in heliotype illustrate this magnificent work. Some age wear on portfolio with gold lettering on spine somewhat faded and spine frayed. Closed tears along joints. Edges and corners rubbed. Age-toning along paper margin. Very minor chipping and tiny closed tears along pages of text. Text in Italian and French. Portfolio in overall good-, interior in good to very good condition.
