Adler or Adlerwerke, formerly known as Heinrich Kleyer, was a German automobile manufacturer founded by Heinrich Kleyer (1853-1932) in 1880. The company was also known as an aircraft manufacturer. From 1898 on they also produced typewriters and office machinery. This publication celebrates the company's history of car designs. Profusely illustrated with b/w reproductions of photographs by Dr. Paul Wolff. Many of the plates are in photomontage and show Kleyer with the Adler-Standard 8, Adler Favorit, etc., as well as detailed photographs of the manufacturing process of a car. Text in German by Paul G.
