Fascinating work displaying hundreds of actual cloth samples and profusely illustrated with 16 full-page colored illustrations of attire offered by the company, and numerous b/w reproductions of paintings (mainly portraits of famous women). Some edge wear on binding with edges, front board and corners rubbed. Head and tail of spine slightly worn. Front joint cracked. Endpapers partly chipped on outer margin. Minor damp staining along outer margin of pages. Binding in overall good-, interior in good+ condition
