Interesting pictorial documenting architectural exhibitions by foreign (non-French) countries at the 1937 World Expo in Paris. Some of the countries that exhibited were Germany, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brasil, Canada, Spain, Denmark, Greece, Haiti, Italy, Japan, Monaco, Portugal, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, U.R.S.S., Palestine and many others. Illustrated with hundreds of photographs in collotype on 48 loose plates of works by architects such as Albert Speer, M. Marcelo Martinez de Hoz, O. Haerdtl, MM. Stephenson, J. Guilbert, M. J.-E. Brunet, M. Hvass, M. R. Lardat, M. P. Tournon, A. Aalto, O. Hill plus many others. Two of the plates show eight images of the "Pavilon de L'Allemagne" by Hitler's architect Albert Speer. Includes b/w double-page map of exhibition grounds, 7 pages of groundplans of some of the exhibiting countries & 14 pages of text with description of plates depicted. Preface by M. Edmond Labbè. Some age wear, scuffing and abrasions on portfolio. Usual age toning to outer edges of leaves. Text in French. Overall very good condition. Volume III of III, complete in itself as issued.
