Serigraphs on arches paper of 270 gr, all color separations produced by the artist, each print signed and titled in pencil by the artist. Lavishly colored illustrations with a deep, rich, bright golden background with colorful figures and scenery in brilliant colors that emit a 3 dimensional depth. Blind-embossed publishers stamp on lower left margin of each plate. Some staining and scuffing on portfolio. Front board slightly bowed. Slight creasing on few tissue guards. Top right corner of text page and top left corner of "The Seder" creased, not affecting text or image. With numbered authentication page, as issued. Text in English. Portfolio in good, interior in very good condition.
Prints: 1 "The Seder" a seder with its symbolic aspects. 2 "Moses in the Basket" Pharaoh's daughter first sees baby Moses. 3 "The Burning Bush" Moses when he hears God's voice. 4 "Let My People Go" Aaron turning his rod into a crocodile at the Pharaoh's court. 5 "Ten Plagues" a triptych with Moses and Aaron in the center surrounded by ten scenes. 6 "The Exodus" the procession of people walking leisurely away with the sea closing behind them. 7 "The Ten Commandments" shows Moses looking down from the mountain at his people's betrayal with the Golden Calf. 8 "The Four Sons" depicts the sons in a narrative-like scene. 9 "Who Knows One...?" recalls a Byzantine icon, portraying 13 scenes. 10. "Next Year in Jerusalem," depicts the Holy City symbolically emphasizing the holy places of the 3 monotheistic religions.
