The author, John Ruskin (1819 – 1900) was a renowned art and social critic, but is also remembered as a talented author, poet and artist. Illustrated with two full-page b/w plates, protected by tissue guard, as issued (one of them frontispiece). Includes appendix with in-text illustrations. Minor age wear to binding. Browning throughout, with occasional pencil marks at margins, easily erasable. Otherwise clean and tight. Very good condition.
