Original publisher's binding: 1/4 purple cloth over decorated gray paper covered boards. Most ties lacking. Work on decorative designs for window and interior draperies as well as total room designs including furniture and accessories. Modern style in the direction of Charles Rennie McIntosh (1868-1928). Some images ressemble the room setting installations in the Kunstgewerbemuseum in Hamburg. Magnificently illustrated with 40 color lithographs after water colors by Sauvage and Eckhart. Minor age wear to binding, with most of ties lacking. Minor edge wear to plates, sporadic foxing, mostly at outer perimeters, not affecting images. Title, text and captions in German. Very good condition.
