The paper on the binding was made of river mud from the Umpqua and the one on the slipcase came from the Nile. With often missing original and numbered (1/172) "Murrumbidgee Nile" Lapis prospectus leaf laid in. Complete, as issued. Minor discoloration to vellum on book. Small bump to lower part of spine. Collection of hand-made river mud papers by the artist from the Mississippi, Indragoodby, Jordan, Condamine, Avon, Chitravathri, Amazon, Rhine, Guatiquia, Huang He, Hudson, and the Nairobi. The names of the rivers are printed in red on each sheet. Signed by Long on colophon. Includes one loose page of the Murrumbidgee / Nile. Slipcase in very good, book in near fine condition.
